Erin DeFrieze joined Lynxspring’s technical support team after being employed as an application engineer for 20 years, where she had the opportunity to work many different types of commercial facilities, government facilities, and with several educational institutions ranging from small school districts up to small colleges and universities, as well as a major Big 10 school. She worked as a project manager and an application engineer to complete residence hall remodels and twelve large new facilities with a total construction cost greater than $20 million for each project. DeFrieze brings a wealth of mechanical and DDC knowledge and holds several control system certifications, including Tridium Niagara r2, AX, and N4. She has also acted as a customer representative, a consulting engineer, and a commissioning agent on several projects, and she is known in the industry for finishing projects on time and on budget. The fact that she has always been a strong proponent of the Niagara product and of Lynxspring in general provides a natural progression from her previous years of experience.
