Title: Regulatory Update: The Latest Rulemaking on Refrigerants and Upcoming Efficiency Standards

Description: The regulation of refrigerants is an ongoing source of uncertainty in commercial and residential air conditioning. As global, national and state regulations have recently targeted an HFC refrigerants phase-down, some have begun the transition toward alternative refrigerants with lower GWP. By 2023, all new residential central air-conditioning and air-source heat pump systems sold in the U.S. will be required to meet new minimum energy efficiency standards. This seminar will provide the latest on upcoming refrigerant transitions, refrigerant rulemaking and efficiency requirements, and how to prepare.
